FAQS

❓HOW DOES IT WORK?

Each month I program a newsletter with wellness topics into your email system. You can review it and make changes before it sends.

From the newsletter content, I program four Facebook and Instagram posts for the following four weeks. Those same posts get programmed to repeat after 4 and 8 months (reposting is a common practice).

💰WHAT IS THE COST?

Payments must be set up on a subscription basis via GoGoDone’s stripe account with a credit or debit card only. No other payment options are available.

  • $390 per month

  • $290 per month for the newsletter only

📧 WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE AN EMAIL SYSTEM?

Your first subscription payment covers your set-up cost. Either the time it takes me to get into your system and build a template or the time it takes me to set you up with an email system. Your first newsletter will go out the following month.

👍🏽 WHAT IF I HAVEN'T SET UP SOCIAL MEDIA?

Your first subscription payment covers your set-up cost for Facebook and Instagram - including your Meta Business Suite. That’s where you can program posts in advance for both sites.
What if I haven’t posted in a long time?

🍎 WHAT IS IN THE NEWSLETTER?

The newsletter covers a variety of wellness topics. In addition to my years of experience with outpatient ortho, I have a master's degree in counseling psychology and years of counseling and coaching experience. Some of the content will originate from that experience.

For PT-related topics, a great deal of information is pulled from the ChoosePT website and other reputable sources (always referenced). The content in the newsletter is for laypersons, not experts. They get the factual basics presented beautifully and clearly. For expertise, they come to you!

Finally, they’ll get some healthy food advice and an easy recipe. The advice will mostly be about eating more vegetables since we can all agree on that.

✍️ CAN I CHANGE WHAT’S IN THE NEWSLETTER?

Absolutely! The newsletter will be programmed before it’s sent out. You can change anything I’ve written (other than removing attributions we’re legally required to have). You can also add content. I recommend this if you have a new staff member, you have an upcoming event or someone had a baby! We’ll need to see those pictures.

Don’t want to do it yourself? You’re more than welcome to contract with me hourly to add it. Just be aware that advanced notice is key! My availability is not guaranteed.

⏳ HOW LONG OF A COMMITMENT IS IT?

Technically, you can cancel with 30 days' written notice. With the first month being set up only, I’d encourage you to go for a minimum of four months before making a cancelation decision. Although folks might be excited to hear from you, they don’t all need PT all the time. And those that do may have to go through their doctor first.

Digital marketing like this also builds on itself. It takes multiple exposures to build trust and familiarity.

✅ WHAT WILL YOU NEED FROM ME?

Most importantly - you need permission to email your list. Check your documentation that you’ve gotten this permission.

Beyond that, after we sign our contract for services and our HIPPA business services agreement, I’ll need access to your email system and to be made an administrator on your Facebook page. We can do this together or I can work with your marketing person.

📈 HOW WILL I KNOW IT'S WORKING?

Once a month you get a report with your open rate, click rate, subscriber count, and your social media follower count. There’s no way to track how many of your NPs are from the newsletter, but if they’re clicking on your website or clicking on your phone number, there’s a good chance that they’re interested in an appointment.

🏁 HOW DO I START?

We start with an exploratory conversation. If we're a match, we sign contracts for services and HIPPA and I send you the subscription link. Then I get to work lining up your email and social media. You can sit back and relax (or get back to running your business and patient care).

HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS IS RIGHT FOR ME?

Let’s do the math. Here are some stats according to the APTA PPS’s PT Private Practice Metrics Report

  • The ideal number of NP as return business or referral is 60% with 45% being your bare minimum.  A regular newsletter with valuable information will keep you top-of-mind. Former patients will remember their positive experience with you. They'll be able to easily forward your email to a friend or family member or tag them on a social media post.

  • Typical gross revenue per visit is $85 with Fair/Good clinics keeping 12%. That means you’re making at least $10 per patient per visit. The average length of service is 11 patient visits. That's a profit of $110. If, after a few months of service, you see a jump of 2-4 NPs per month, the service is paying for itself. The larger your email list, the more likely it is that someone will be ready for care at the time you email. If you are new and have a small list, 2 patients might be hard to hit each month. If you have a large list, your odds go up and up.

  • So how big of a list do you want? For healthcare email marketing the average open rate is 21.48% and the average click rate is 2.69%. Those are people clicking through to your site. With a list of 2000, 430 people will open your email. Of those, 11-12 will visit your website. You’ll need 2-4 of those people to make an appointment. With a list of 4000, you will have 23 visits to try and turn into NPs.

  • We’re a good match if you are 1) good at converting website visitors and phone calls into new patients, 2) you have a large enough email list, and 3) you’re not currently consistent with your outreach.

I'M HERE TO HELP

I’ve been there - either working for small businesses or running my own. You have to know how to do a little bit of everything, without enough time to properly master all of it.

Choose your battles! You need to worry about your payer mix and recruiting a new PT, not how to write an article or build an Instagram reel.

As a marketer, I’ve had so many owners sheepishly admit that they haven’t posted on social media in months or they keep meaning to start a newsletter. It’s no surprise. There is never enough time to do it all when you own a small business. Let me lighten the load.

“Marketing” is a huge field. Smart business owners know they can’t do it all and focus on the highest ROI. For small clinics, that’s staying in contact with your former patients and having a searchable presence on social media. Do this consistently and with high quality and patients will remember you when they or their loved ones need care.
